Associations
The English Guernsey Cattle Society is divided into regional Associations and in the case of the South West, where the majority of Guernsey herds are to be found, the Association is divided into 3 Branches - Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. The Somerset Branch also encompasses Dorset and Wiltshire. If you would like further information on the Breed or would like to become involved in the social side of The English Guernsey Cattle Society please contact your nearest Association or Branch Secretary as listed below. They will be pleased to keep you informed of local events.

The Somerset Dorset & Wilts Branch held their annual stock-judging competion at Graylands Farm, Nr Bristol, on Saturday July 16th 2011 by kind invitation of The Parfitt Family.

Colin and his family had turned out a tremendous line up of cows and heifers which would have put any show ring to shame. Master Judge, Rosemary Charman was particularly impressed with the quality of cattle on show.

Around 20 competitors took part and gave Digby plenty of work to do working out the scores.
