All About the Future Golden Breeders.

Membership of the Future Golden Breeders began in 2004 as part of The ENGLISH GUERNSEY CATTLE SOCIETY promotion of the Breed at the World Conference in the UK. Following on from the success of that year, the membership has grown and the members now range in age from 3 to 22, with our older members succeeding at all levels against their counterparts in the Holstein and other Coloured breeds Societies.

Initially the junior members started showing at small County Shows and have graduated up to National Shows including the All Breeds Calf show at Stonleigh. Such is the strength of the Future Golden Breeders, one of our founder members, Laura Sales, has taken on the responsibility of co-ordinator.

During the past few years, "Cow Camps" have been organised to train youngsters in skills such as clipping and showmanship. These have proved very popular and many a friendship has been struck up amongst those attending. We are always open to any invitation to hold one of these camps.
