Annual Judges Workshop 2011
This year's Annual Judges Workshop was held at Tredinney Farm, on Tuesday April 19th,by kind permission of The Warren Family. A glorious spring day saw an excellent turnout of 8 senior judges 3 junior judges and around 15 other competitiors. James and his helpers had prepared 3 rings of superb cattle, cows in calf, heifers in milk and cows in milk, which would all have easily competed in any show ring in the country.

The committee were particularly impressed with Jonathon Hosking and Joe Kernow, who gave an excellent account of their reasons, whilst helping out with the preparation ond showing of the cattle.
Master Judge Colin Christophers gives us his reasons.
After the judging was finished, and whilst James milked the cows, Laura Sales gave an informative demonstration on the Judging of Showmanship Classes. This is something our Judges are increasingly asked to do at Shows and we felt some instruction on the finer points of what to look for would be
valuable.

We would like to thank all the Warren Family and their helpers for ther hospitality and providing us with such a wonderful group of cattle. Thank you also to our two Judges Colin Christophers and Phillip Laity for their time and to Digby for working out the scores.
