The AB AB delivered everything that we wished in that a line of Quality calves were very much the centre of interest and the icing on the cake was an approach from a top Ayrshire breeder who wants to get involved with the Breed and with our FGB.

All Breeds All Britain Calf Handling 2006
19 Guernsey handlers were competing for the first time in the ABAB and were placed first in two of the five classes, whilst Kate Bowsher was Guernsey Champion and Reserve Coloured Breed Champion handler.

The Dairy Show lived up to its reputation as the best Guernsey Show of the year with Laity Farm Primrose winning the Championship for the second time for the Warren family.

South Wales Calf Show 2006
The Annual Calf Show held at Carmarthen market on Saturday 23rd September 2006, saw five Dairy breeds competing.Guernsey numbers were badly affected by TB restrictions, but 3 exhibitors made the effort to support the section.

The 2006 show found the Blacknor team to the fore once again , but it was Ian Crouch's Cracker Duchess a second calver by Teak who was Champion in front of herd mate Luckley Ivy 25.

Thirty one Guernsey calves and 18 young handlers took part in the first All Breeds Calf Show at Hallworthy. Emma Greenslade was placed as Reserve Champion Handler and also had her calf placed as Reserve Interbreed Champion.

Future Golden Breeders at the Okehampton Show 2006
Okehampton Show had agreed to create two classes for Guernsey Calves and the FGB and Genus had genorously donated trophies for each class winner.

Guernsey Island Royal Show 2006
The 2006 RGAHS show took place on 27th July 2006 and found Bon and Margaret Martel in dominant form winning both Cow and Heifer Championships and the Queens Cup.
