Judges Workshop 4 April 2018

The EGCS Judges Workshop 2018 will be held on Wednesday 4th April 2018 at Model Farm, Kimcote, Lutterworth, LE17 5RT by kind permission of Alan and Rebecca Thomas and family. The day which is intended to encourage new judges to join the existing Panel of Judges and to enable existing Judges to keep up to date with the requirements of the modern Guernsey cow, will also include a herd visit of the 130 acre Council holding with its 250 head of cattle, mainly Holstein but incorporating, at present, between 30 -40 head of Kimcote Guernseys.

John Berry - update

Vice President, John Berry, suffered a bad fall and broke his hip. Following a lengthy operation he also suffered chest and kidney infections. John is now at home trying to get back to normal – a slow process and not going as quickly as he would like – he would welcome calls from his friends and colleagues in the Society.
